The firm is working with a group of drug manufacturers to develop a new treatment for erectile dysfunction,has announced.
The firm is to receive approval from the FDA and the US Food and Drug Administration on Aug. 21, and it will begin selling the drug, the company announced.
The drug, which is calledViagra, is a generic form of theCialisdrug, which is approved by the FDA. It is available on prescription and as a generic, and the drug is only available on an annual prescription basis.
The company will also receive approval from the FDA to begin selling the product in the United States on Aug. 24, said Michael McAninch, CEO of the FDA.
“Las Vegas has been an important step forward in providing men with the medication they need for decades,” McAninch said in a statement.
